Obituary of Arlynn Robbins
Arlynn Genevieve Robbins, 13, of Bath, NY went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Arlynn was born January 28, 2004 at Corning Hospital, Corning, NY. Arlynn had just completed the seventh grade at Haverling Middle School where she was a high honor roll student. Arlynn played the trumpet and was in the middle school band, jazz band and participated in All County Band for the past two years. Arlynn loved school, her teachers, and friends. She also loved swimming and was proud to be a part of the modified swim team. Arlynn was enrolled for several years with the Keuka Lake Dance Center in Hammondsport, NY.
Arlynn’s greatest love was living on her family farm, she was a farm girl and proud of it. Arlynn was president of the Kickin’ Kountry Kids 4H Club and had been in 4H since she was 7 years old. Arlynn loved breeding, raising and training beef cows, sheep and pigs to be entered in the local county fairs, her favorite being the Steuben County Fair. She saved enough money to purchase her first registered heifer in the fall of 2016. Arlynn especially loved when animals were born on the farm, always checking to make sure they were healthy and quickly naming them. Arlynn loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, riding four wheelers and snowmobiles on the farm. She also enjoyed country music.
Arlynn had a beautiful smile which lit up a room, the cutest dimple in her chin, a wonderful laugh and a huge love for life. Arlynn loved being with family and friends and could easily make friends anywhere she went. Arlynn is survived by her parents Jim and Carrie Robbins, brother Avery Brandow (Cayla Coots), sister Ainsley Robbins (Bryan Owens), Paternal Grandfather Harold Robbins and late grandmother Pat Robbins, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Jerry, Katie and Kellie McMillan of Elkton, MD, Aunt Judy, Uncle Dana, Dillon and Dan Towner of Wheeler, NY, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Linda, Sam, Ellie, Jack, Camden, Teddie Robbins of Bath, NY along with many well-loved friends.
